The greatest scientific genius there is! Born on Earth, Eggman looked up to his late grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik & his scientific exploits. He was a hero of sorts to the doctor & inspired him to take on the studying of electronics & advanced machinery. Continuing his grandfather's research as an adult, he left Earth & made a new home on Sonic's World, free from the shackles of human society to build a world of his own. Of course, he didn't account the existence of Sonic & friends, who've been thwarting his plans for as long as he can remember. The seemingly countless losses have gotten so bad that they now seem to be taking a toll on the old man.

With his latest defeat gnawing at his mind more than ever, the doctor is desperate to regain his control on the planet. Mentally at his rope, & looking for a breakthrough, the mad scientist may very well have found the solution to his very problem. But to put his plan into motion, he's going to need all the help he can get to tear Sonic down once & for all.
